Tracy Loken Weber President and Executive Director
Tracy Loken Weber is Milwaukee Achiever’s Executive Director and President of its Board of Directors. She is an educator by trade, who throughout her career has traversed sectors, bringing exceptional educational practices to K-12 and nonprofits alike. Tracy began her career in the K-12 sector, where she provided strategic implementation of technology integration, curriculum and instruction best practices in the schools. Throughout her career, Tracy has been an influential speaker on the topics of technology integration, adult literacy and workforce development. Her paper Technology in Adult Education was published by Pearson National Evaluation Systems and is on file with the Library of Congress. She has a bachelor’s degree in education from Bemidji State University and a master’s degree in curriculum instruction and design and technology from Bemidji State University. Tracy also holds a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the UWM School of Continuing Education and the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management. She currently serves on the boards of Wisconsin Literacy, Executive Women International, Association of Adult Literacy Professional Developers, and has also served on multiple other nonprofit boards and advisory committees. In 2012, Tracy was recognized as one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 recipients and in 2013, she was inducted into the Professional Education Hall of Fame at Bemidji State University.

Jeri Jende Development Coordinator
Jeri Jende joined the Milwaukee Achiever team in 2011, and has worked in philanthropy for 16 years. Jeri is responsible for donor development, grant writing, special events, communication, and marketing efforts. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the UWM School of Continuing Education and the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management. Jeri also enjoys photography and is often seen with a camera in her hands taking pictures of Milwaukee Achiever learners and tutors. Prior to working in the nonprofit arena, she worked in healthcare as a Medical Technologist.

Tammy Knutson Accountant
Tammy is responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions including preparation of monthly adjusting entries and financial statements. Additionally, she oversees all human resource related activities. Prior to working for Milwaukee Achiever, Tammy worked for other small businesses in the Milwaukee area. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Ottawa University and is an active member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Ger Lor IT Operations
Ger was born in Laos and raised in Ban Vinai refugee camp in Thailand. He and his family migrated to the United States in 1992. Ger has been with Milwaukee Achiever since 2002 serving as an IT Support Specialist where he manages the organization’s computer network and supports all technology-related issues as well as website maintenance. Ger holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is also CompTIA certified from TechSkills in A+, Network+, and MCP. In his downtime away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family and working around the house.

Holly McCoy Silver Spring Center Coordinator
Holly McCoy is the Silver Spring Center Program Coordinator. She manages the daily operations for the Center (GED, MATC classes, English Language Learning, Computer skills, and Adult Basic Education) serving approximately 220 adult learners weekly. She also coordinates the Mount Mary College in the Community program and the Warehouse Worker Certificate program, as well as trains new volunteer tutors. Holly helps foster community partnerships through her outreach efforts, and frequently speaks on adult literacy issues and the adult literacy services available within Milwaukee. Holly graduated from Alverno College with her BA in English and Secondary Education, and is currently pursuing her MA in Adult Education and Organizational Development. Holly serves on several community committees related to adult literacy and workforce development, is a Literacy Coalition of Southeastern Wisconsin board member, and volunteers as the Weekend College Orientation Leader and external assessor for Alverno College.

Kathy Kreie, OSF Silver Spring Center Assistant Coordinator
Sr. Kathy Kreie, OSF has been with Milwaukee Achiever for 3 years. She is the assistant coordinator at the Silver Spring location. Her duties included registration and testing of new learners, matching tutors and learners, and setting the curriculum and learning program for the learners. She has been a Sister of St. Francis of Assisi for 20 years and has a Masters Degree in Religious Studies as well as teacher certification. She is currently attending Cardinal Stritch University to get her Masters Degree in English as a Second Language and Reading Specialist.

Aaron Goyette Scott Center Coordinator
Aaron is the Scott Center Coordinator, overseeing the ELL, ABE, GED, Computer and Bilingual Medical Interpreter programs conducted out of the Scott Center location. A Milwaukee native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he joined Milwaukee Achiever in 2010 after nine years of teaching high school English language learners in Japan and the Milwaukee area. Starting as an instructor and coordinator at a Milwaukee Achiever-contracted learning lab, Aaron moved into his current role in September 2012 and continues to provide support for tutors and learners seeking to improve themselves and their communities through education. When he is not at Scott Center, Aaron can be found spending time with his family, visiting museums, going to Brewers games and pursuing his interests in cinema and philately.

Laura Kiskunas Scott Center Assistant Coordinator
Laura Kiskunas works in conjunction with Aaron Goyette to facilitate daily operations at the Scott Center. She primarily handles scheduling, prepares lesson plans, and manages student records. Prior to joining Milwaukee Achiever, Laura was an intern with the Literacy Network in Madison, Wisconsin, where she facilitated a small group of tutors and English language learners. She has also served as a volunteer tutor with the Rock County Literacy Connection, both in English language and basic computer skills tutoring. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, where she studied French, Japanese, Spanish, and Martial Arts.
